coming all the way from the tiny shores of little england, you kind of get sick of themed pubs(esp irish ones). But then i stumble across this little watering hole which is to put it bluntly AWESOME. seen as i stayed in bel air for three months i probably spent the best part of that time getting pleasently drunk listening to the live bands upstairs or just holding the bar up down stairs. The woman are georgous by the way, as an english lad my accent made sure i got to know this first hand. the only problem was the walk home (my fault for living so far away) but apart from that there was never a dull moment. All i can really say is english pubs take note.

Great Place. One of only a couple good places in Bel Air. Everything else is a chain. Ropewalk and Bolans the only true bars!!!!

Smaller and more intimate than the Ropewalk down the street, and seemingly better run; a better selection of drafts and bottles than Ropewalk, dipping much further into craft beers and esoteric stuff, backed by friendly and enthusiastic staff.

I can't believe you liked it so much Jake Kuzma wasn't even there. The only reason to come to harco is the KOOZ.

We got there around 11:30 pm. It was packed like Ropewalk was. Otter Creek on tap was great-both types. Once again service was really good, but the bartenders were really busy to get right to us. The band on the second floor was also worth the visit. Bel Air is turning into the place to be!!! I no longer go to canton or whitemarsh.

15 taps--all good. Includes Smouttynose Shoals Pale, Brewers Art, Oak Barrel Stout. About 30 good bottles to choose from, mostly imports. Lots of Young's, Sam Smith, Lindeman's; even Harviestoun product as well. Plenty of Irish whiskey, and other spirits. Menu looked good--maybe next time. I almost forgot--Natty Boh in bottles, hon!

Bel Air has waited a long time for a great bar with good beer on tap. Sean Bolans is the one. The food is awesome the beer on draught even better.

Opened Dec. 19th, 2003; spies report 15 taps, similar to (and owned/run by) the location in Federal Hill, Baltimore of the same name.
